Kathleen D. Osta
President of Vital Clarity
As President of Vital Clarity, Kathleen designs and facilitates highly participatory meetings to help organizations realize their potential and fulfill their purpose. She has mastery of consensus facilitation methods that draw out the alignment within groups and is a Mentor Trainer of those methods. Her specialties are organizational, public sector and personal strategic planning, leadership and facilitation coaching and training, and change management.
Her professional career began in the human services arena where she held manager, public relations, and development director positions. She spent twelve years in various capacities in programs serving families with young and adult children with cognitive and physical developmental needs.
Since 1989 she has focused on leading and facilitating groups to establish and achieve specific, measurable outcomes while eliciting ownership of and commitment to team plans. Equipped to work within most professional arenas, Kathleen has depth of experience in the public and private sectors, health care, the disability field, social services, education, nonprofit mergers and marketing.
Kathleen has a B.A. in Sociology from Nazareth College of Rochester, N.Y. and more than 30 years of management and consulting experience. She is a charter member of the Arizona Organization Development Network, belongs to the Institute of Cultural Affairs’ (ICA) Technology of Participation (ToP)® Trainers Network and the Asheville Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to being a mentor trainer of ICA’s “ToP® Facilitation Methods” course, Kathleen uses many facilitation approaches to meet clients’ needs. She is also certified to conduct the “Managing Change” program developed by ChangeWorks.
Using strategies that fulfill the intention and desire to be productive, combined with an understanding of human dynamics, Kathleen designs meetings and provides customized services that entice individuals and groups to move beyond their previous limits.
